Want to test bleeding-edge features before anyone else? Join our Beta Program.

We use the Beta Program to test new "On-Ice Scout" algorithms and advanced analytics before they go wide. If you're a power user who wants the latest features first—and doesn't mind an occasional bug—we'd love to have you on the roster.

Note: Beta testers are on the Closed Testing track — a separate pre-release build distinct from the production app on the Play Store. You're testing real builds, but not the version the general public sees.

How to Join the Beta

Follow these steps in order to get the beta build on your watch and phone.

Step 1: Request Access Request to join the beta tester group using one of the following methods: - Google Group: Click here to submit a join request. You'll be approved and added to the whitelist. - Email: Send an email to hello@lr7.digital with the subject line "Beta Request" and include the Google Account email you use on your Android device.

Either way, you'll receive a confirmation once you've been added.

Step 2: Accept the Invite (Crucial)

You must "Opt-In" before you can download the beta version.

  1. Click this specific link: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.TimeOnIce
  2. Make sure you are signed in with the same Google Account you used to join the group.
  3. Click the big blue button that says "BECOME A TESTER".

Step 3: Install on Your Phone 📱

  1. Once you have become a tester, use this link to go to the Store page:
  2. Install the app on your phone.

Step 4: Install on Your Watch ⌚ (The Important Part)

The watch app does NOT always install automatically. Do one of the following:

Option A: The "Remote Install" (Best Method) 1. Open this link on your Phone or Laptop browser: * https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.TimeOnIce 2. Look for the green "Install on more devices" button (or the small arrow next to "Install"). 3. Check the box next to your Watch name (e.g., "Galaxy Watch 6"). 4. Click Install.

Option B: The "On-Watch" Method 1. Open the Play Store app on your actual watch face. 2. Scroll down to the category called "Apps on your phone". 3. Find Time On Ice in that list and tap the download icon.
